I don't know how it took me so long to play this! I love it. It's so relaxing, and the art style and music are perfect. My first hand was brutal and over quickly, but on my second I built a thriving seaside empire and it was fun to watch it grow, then descend into war and pestilence, then bounce back better than ever. I especially enjoyed throwing a mid-famine festival. Must've been a real party, I'm sure.
It seems like the intention is to build as big a village as you can and then discard out, but all the discard options seemed to also destroy buildings. Some friendly discard cards that let you get rid of hazards without penalties might be a nice addition, though I think they should be rare. I started experimenting after a while and even purposefully inflicting horror after horror on my village I had a hard time whittling down my hand because I'd built up the farms and mines and everything. Most of the positive cards lead to drawing more, so maybe there could be a few variations on the Calm Season one to advance without adding to your hand. Or maybe I misunderstood and the whole point is to keep going as long as you can!
Anyway, I adored the experience and I would absolutely play an expanded version. Honestly, I expect to play this version at least a few times more, just for the experience. Great work!
Yay I've been waiting to play this one! Windows build seems to work fine as far as I can tell.
I love love love seeing how playing certain cards affects the village, and the low poly style works really well. This is 100% my kind of game.
Only negatives are: The camera movement is weird, it seems to drift even when I'm not moving anything and also would be better if it focuses on where the visual effect is taking place so you don't miss it. The other thing is card variety / balance. My first attempt I got a hand full of pestilence and war so that was over before it started, but on my second attempt I seemed to be able to continue indefinitely without any challenge.

Amazing work for 2 weeks, very polished! I don't know if it was intended as a prototype, but I would love to play a bigger version of this.
nice game i like the art and card mechanic
Thank you!
Really nice game although I would improve the readability of the cards. But the game looks really polished. The artstyle is also amazing.
Thank you very much :)

Great work though, well done!
Thanks for playing! I had trouble with balancing, I think I would have to rethink the mechanics to make something balanced. Thanks for the feedback.
